If there is one thing that I can say about having a name like Basil Berry, it’s that people rarely forget my name. I was named after my grandfather, Basil, and my name is pronounced just like basil the herb, and not like Basil Rathbone, master of stage and screen.

I am a graduate of The University of Michigan (Go Blue!), where I studied and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Painting & Design. Painting is a true passion for me, and I am proud to have my work hanging in homes, offices, and restaurants around the country.

My career path led me into graphic design, and I have worked as a photographer, paste up artist (remember back before the days of Quark and InDesign?), digital designer, illustrator, and Art Director.

I have lived in many wonderful cities such as New York, Atlanta, and Honolulu, and have enjoyed the variety of work I’ve found in each place. I am now living in the beautiful Upstate of South Carolina, which reminds me of my home state of Michigan, but without all of the snow shoveling.

I have spent the last several years in Anderson, SC, perfecting the art of upscale real estate photography and 360 virtual tours, while also helping to parent my 4 year old son, Beckett. The parenting part I haven’t quite perfected. I also enjoy square foot gardening, and am an avid disc golf enthusiast.
